Before you buy anything digital – find out if it has all the current upgrades.
More and more today we are finding that technology and communication are allowing us to do things that we wouldn’t have though possible only a few years ago – and it’s important to keep up with the changes to avoid buying ‘old’ technology before you even though it was ‘new’…
Unless you are at the forefront of development – by the time you see your friends all using a certain product and decide to buy one – things may have moved on. The result being that you may well be buying something you think you want before you know what else you can have for round-a-bout the same price.
For example, if you were buying a new camera and thought that 10x zoom was great – did you know that you can get that in HD too? Or that smartphone with a single view camera – why not get one with a 2-way camera instead?
So by checking out what you think you want first – you can then see what else is out there – or will soon be out there – as it might be worth waiting a month for a real big technological jump.
By searching for camera or camcorder reviews online to see what everyone is talking about could really make a huge difference to the products that you buy and of course your enjoyment of using them. And especially with photography and filming, there are big advances coming.
Some people are even suggesting that single-shot technology is on it’s way out with stills being taken from a digital film instead!
This would mean that the quality of your camcorder could be vital in getting crisp clear imaging for your stills. Read about it on another more specific camcorder blog to see what other people are saying about this and other related trends.
So, you had better be on the look-out for those with higher frames per second to get the most images out of your holiday or adventure trip!
